Things went great!

things went great during the delivery. it hurt even with the epidural. but it didnt hurt to much. during my delivery i had so many people there to help me through it. having all those people there really helped me relax and get through it. there was a point when i thought i couldnt do it any more.....but i did . i had my baby september 17 2008 at 5:01am . he was 6lbs 6ozs and was as healthy as can be. the only thing that could have caused a problem was his am biblical cord. it was tied in two knots right on top of each other. we didnt even know until he was out . if there would have been an tension on either side of the cord it would have cut off his blood and oxygen flow and he would not have made it. im so glad every thing went well. now i have a healthy 1 month old little boy.......here is a link to his new page all about him!.........

So Much Drama

Hello everyone sorry i haven't updated in a while .....we have been so busy trying to make sure we get everything ready for when the baby comes....i am now 5 months along and we are going on the sixth to find out what we are having.....we tried moving in with my cousin but things didn't work out and they didn't get the house they were looking at so we ended up back here at the trailer....so now we have to fix it up so it is ready when our baby gets here....we both cant wait this is what i have wanted for so long and its what he wanted to.....his mom and dad are happy to know they are going to be grandparents it is their first grand baby....... but we think his brother still does not like the fact that Jacob is going to be a daddy........ we were going to get married this year back in march but there was no time for planning so we are waiting until march 5th 2009 after the baby gets here because i want a big wedding.....but who does not want a big wedding right?..........these last two months have went by so quick and i cant wait till September gets here .......well thats all for now.....peace!

Its Been A While!

Well its been a while since i have updated......i have been busy trying to get on the pregnancy Medicaid so i can be insured.....well we finally got that worked out....tomorrow will be the first day of my 10th week......its moving along fast.....Jacob and my brother are going to build another room on the back of the trailer for the baby room the door will be connected to our room......well it time for me to leave and pick Jacob up so until next time see ya!

No Gas

Well having only one income is getting hard......the car is low on gas and there is no money to put gas in the car....i hung out at my cousins house yesterday and had to have a friend of mine take me to pick jacob up from work.....but we made it home....i called the burger king back and finally got in touch with the guy that called an i have an interview today at 4pm ......hopefully i get the job so we will have two incomes...... but we are hanging in there.....its not easy but we have cut back on a lot of things until we get back on our feet.... jacob always reads to my stomach at night and two nights ago he was reading and rubbing my belly when i felt something hit my stomach....it was very faint but then a few seconds later it happened again....it was my baby kicking......i cant wait to get my ultra sound done.....well i have to get ready for my interview so ill post again later!

Long Day

Today was a really long day..... i sent the items i sold on ebay out.... and i took my cat for a ride...i had to take my brother to Danielsville at 8:30 this morning....then take my moms cans and cash them in....then to my cousins house to take her to get some boxes, she is moving, then to pick up jacob and take him to work....then i went to my moms house and sat... then at 9:45 i had to go get jacob from work and make the long ride home...now we are sitting here watching tv and hanging out....im tired so ill be going to bed shortly...well see ya next time!!

Super Bowl!

Well everyone today was super bowl sunday and my team the patriots lost...... not much to say on that one....so far everything is ok with the baby...jacob had to work but he got off early...now we are at home watching the mouse in my snakes cage and watching my new cat tigger mess with my old one expresso....its fun....well when i got home tonight there was a message from burger king i put in an app. there im also pretty sure taco bell is going to offer me and my brother a job tomorrow i know the manager. im not sure which one im going to take but either one will do for now.....i still wake up every morning around 8 am with morning sickness....but i have been able to sleep the last two mornings till 10 or 11am.....so that helps.....im glad im getting a job we really need it because right now we are living on one income and its not really working out to well..... it would really help out a lot if my brother got a job too......so i hope he gets it but if not its ok at least we will have two incomes but three would be nice...i been making a little money selling things on ebay....a dollor or two here and there ....every little bit helps! well until next time see ya later!!

The First 3 Months

First Trimester

Here's a month-by-month guide to your baby's development:

Month 1

• Tiny limb buds, which will grow into arms and legs, appear.

• The embryo looks like a tadpole.

• The heart and lungs begin to form. By the 25th day, the heart starts to beat.

• The neural tube, which becomes the brain and spinal cord, begins to form.

• At the end of the first month, the embryo is about 1/2 inch long and weighs less than 1 ounce.

Month 2

• All major body organs and systems are formed but not completely developed.

• The early stages of the placenta, which exchanges nutrients from your body for waste products produced by the baby, are visible and working.

• The ears, ankles, and wrists form. The eyelids form and grow but are sealed shut.

• Fingers and toes develop.

• By the end of the second month, the fetus looks more like a person than like a tadpole, is about 1 inch long and still weighs less than 1 ounce.

Month 3

• After 8 weeks as an embryo, the baby now is called a "fetus."

• The fingers and toes have soft nails.

• The mouth has 20 buds that will become "baby teeth."

• You can hear your baby's heartbeat for the first time (10 to 12 weeks) using a special instrument called a Doptone.

• For the rest of pregnancy, the body organs will mature, and the fetus will gain weight.

• By the end of this month, the fetus is 2 1/2 inches long and weighs a little over 1 ounce.

To The Doctors

Well yesterday morning i went to the doctors....today i start the beginning of my 8th week its is always fun for me to learn as much as i can about my new baby, so i picked up a lot of pregnancy broacher's to read... they are very helpful... the doctor said everything seemed to be fine so far ..... jacob was there with me too.. he didnt come back but there was no need to this time...but he will be coming back next time... the cat i got is great he is so sweet and playful...i like him the most because he will sit on my stomach and let me love on him...well jacobs building a new porch for me and my baby because the old one fell in the other day!....well i got to go for now but not for good see ya later

Pregnancy Cat

This morning we woke up and i had a little morning sickness as usual.... we went to the Oglethorpe animal shelter to look at their cats... there was one that really stood out to me his name was tiger ....he is orange and his eyes are the same color as his fur...we were not intending on getting him today, but they said he was a last chance cat so we adopted him today..... he is 11mths old and neutered he also has a microchip just in case he gets lost!....i renamed him tigger.... he is so playful....around 2pm i had to drop jacob off at work...then i ran to wal-mart to get some litter and a litterbox.... then i came home and set it up...i played with him all day so he would get used to me.... then at 9pm i left the house to get jacob from work....now we are all hanging out and having a great time... but im off to bed soon, because tomorrow is a big day ....im going to the doctors for a check up to make sure everything is ok with the baby....well until next time see ya!

Great Day

Today was a great day. It began when i woke up this morning ....i went to the gas station to get myself something to drink....when i got home everybody got up and we hung out for a while before jacob had to go to work.....after i dropped him off at work around 3:30 i went to my cousins house....i had a great time...when it was 9:15 and time to head out to pick jacob up from work i checked my voice mail and learned he got off work early at 6:30!.....so he was left stranded at work for three hours!...luckly he wasnt mad ...... we went back to my cousins house and hung out watching a movie ( super troopers ) it was funny..... when the movie was over we left there to head home.... now that we are home im tired and ready for bed so GOODNIGHT!

Things Unplanned

Today after running errands i wanted to go to my cousins house so we could all hang out... but daddy wanted just me and him to hang out. We both had a different idea of what i meant when i said we were going to hang out together. Some things were said that caused both of us to hurt and it went from an argument to a fight. My nerves were really bad and i felt like i didnt care about anything... i know i said some things i should not have said... daddy knows what im talking about...and i hope i can be forgave.... this is the part of the pregnancy i hate.... i cried for a really long time....when i began to cry it was because i was upset but after a while i didnt know why i was crying..... it just felt good..... after a while we made up and now we are playing NCAA football 2006 on playstation 2 ....... even though most of the evening was spent arguing and fighting we still have some time to hang out and love each other and our baby thats growing inside me....so im going to go hang out with daddy now!

Wake Up!

This morning i was looking at the clock at 7:54am...my alarm was set for 8am because i had to take my brother to an interview.... I tried the pillow between my legs last night and it helped a lot. My sleep was much better. Today Jacob was is off work so we get the day together! We have to go pick up his check and run some errands before we can actually relax. But in the end its time well spent with each other....well ill post again tonight when we return home!

Daddies Home Almost Bedtime

I went to pick Jacob up from work and then came back home i read on a web site that at 7 weeks your baby is capable of responding to touch. I am going to the doctor on feb. 1st. I will let everyone know how it goes. I also learned that at 9 weeks your baby will look like an actual human being!..... its good to read up on things about your baby because knowing is important. I recently found out from someone that if you have trouble sleeping at night try using a pillow between your legs, or two pillows under your head. I have not tried it yet because i just found out today i will let you know how it goes in the morning! I still dont know why im having trouble getting to sleep at night.... i dont really nap in the day...im tired all day but thats because im up half the night. well i will post again in the morning! until then goodnight!

Waiting for Daddy

Well Jacob had to go to work at 4 pm , i left the house to drop him off at work then i went to moms house to eat . i ate some left over tacos and drank some sunny d... but the sunny d made me get sick...i know it was the sunny d because i ate tacos last night and i was fine ... so i guess my baby dont like sunny d. then i had to run some errands for mom. when i was finished i headed home to wait for 10 pm so i can go pick up jacob. im doing things around the house to keep my mind occupied. lke laundry, dishes, and feeding the animals. well hats all for now im off to take a quick walk down the dirt road and back! its good for the baby and me!

Early Mornings

Good morning everyone! Last night was restless, the baby kept me up almost all night. You will learn to appreciate the little sleep you do get. I have already picked out names, if its a boy it will be Elijah Jacob Wentworth, but if it a girl it will be Jordan Fay Wentworth. I woke up this morning just after dosing off to stomach pains, but don't worry about those they are simply just growing pains. Most mornings i wake up around 9am and do my usual, go to the bathroom, eat, and then relax. This may sound simple but its not. Almost all of my mornings come with what is called morning sickness. This is a nauseated feeling in your stomach. There is really nothing you can do about. Some times you will be able to control it but sometimes there is nothing you can do. Some mornings i get grumpy and irritated over the littlest things, but its just part of the pregnancy! A lot of the time i will try to go back to sleep but i cant, the baby wont have that he is up and rearing to go. Usually i will find something to occupy myself. Threw my pregnancy i always want to be with the daddy. This cant always happen though because daddy has to work, so i have to do other things to pass the time until daddy gets off work. The good part is me and daddy can hang out in the mornings before he has to go to work. Now I am off to moms or better yet grandmas.

Discovery

Hello everyone, my name is Brittany I am 18 an engaged to a wonderful man. I am currently about one month pregnant. Throughout the next 8 months i will be writing about what goes on during pregnancy. I will be including everything from eating habits, to doctors appointments, the baby kicking, growing, ultra sounds, etc. Even after the baby is born i will continue to write about baby crawling, walking, first words, etc. I'm here to let people know what its like being pregnant and being a mom, however i am still learning too. This will be my first child. As many people know pregnancy can be a very emotional time. It will have its ups and downs. My posts will not always be happy. In the end everything turns out fine. I will answer any questions you may have to the best of my ability.


Discovery of your new baby:

On January 25th 2008 I noticed my period for the month had not came on. I used a home pregnancy test an the results were positive. From this point you decide who to tell first. I told my fiance he was going to be a daddy He was so happy. We then called his mom and told her she was going to be a grandma, she was happy too. Then i called my mom an told her the news, she cried but it was a cry of happiness. From there the word spread. At the Sunday dinner with his family him and his mom announced it to every one. I know by this point you will be tired an want to take a nap. It is OK to do so, after all you are raising a baby even though its not here yet.......
